World Doll Day 2025

On World Doll Day which is celebrated on June, 11 2025 it’s all about the small plastic or porcelain versions of human beings. Dolls are popular among young children, most often girls. They play with them, foster them as if they were their babies and love to brush and coiffure their hair. But some dolls also have a certain collector’s value.

On World Doll Day people use to spend time with a doll or give it to someone as a present. This holiday was invented by Mildred Seeley in 1986. She wanted to lay focus on dolls and the love for fostering that is connected with this classic toy. Dolls can come along in all kinds of shapes, sizes, material, and hair and skin color.
