Theosophists all around the world celebrate White Lotus Day on May 08, 2025 to commemorate Helena Petrovna Blavatsky. Blavatsky was co-founder of the Theosophical Society and died on May 8. in 1891. Theosophy is considered part of esotericism which seeks the path to enlightenment and salvation. Although today exist several theosophical organizations, the White Lotus Day is observed by all of them. White Lotus Day encourages the people to meditate about their life and think of it as of the lotus. The lotus is born in mud, grows thought the water and finally reaches the surface, the air and the sunlight.
