Waterloo Day is observed on June 18. 2025. It is a commemoration day dedicated to the Battle of Waterloo, in 1815. The fight took place near Waterloo (which belongs to Belgium today), a former part of the United Kingdom of the Netherlands. The French army under the command of Napoléon Bonaparte was defeated by the army of the Seventh Coalition, led by General Wellington.
