Cubans celebrate the Triumph of the Revolution on January 01, 2025. This holiday marks the anniversary of the day on which Fidel Castro led the Cuban revolution to a victory against the dictator Fulgencio Batista in 1959. In the years since, this special holiday has gained emotional significance for the Cubans and the government led by Fidel Alejandro Castro Ruz. Castro was Prime Minister from 1959 to 1976 and governed as President of Cuba from 1976 to 2008. He developed the country to the communist state Cube is still today.
