Record Store Day 2025

Record Store Day is celebrated all over the globe on April 19, 2025. The day is celebrated annually since April 19, 2008, each third Saturday of April. It was created in 2007 and its purpose is to celebrate the culture of independently owned record stores. Record store staff and customers get together with artists on Record Store Day to celebrate music and the record store itself. There are parades, meet & greets, DJs, exclusive offers, and other events on that day. For example, on the first celebration, Metallica met their fans at Rasputin Music in San Francisco. Record Stores from all over the world participate in this event.
