Nelson Mandela International Day, also known as Mandela Day, is an international day in honour of Nelson Mandela, celebrated on 18. July 2025. On this day, Mandela was born in 1918, so it celebrates his birthday. The day was officially declared by the United Nations in November 2009, with the first UN Mandela Day held on 18 July 2010.

Nelson Mandela, who died in 2013, was a South African anti-apartheid revolutionary, politician and philanthropist who served as President of South Africa from 1994 to 1999.
