Loyalty Day is observed in Argentina on October 17, 2025. It is a day dedicated to the loyalty towards another person and is observed since October 17, 1945. On this day a labor demonstration took place, demanding the liberation of Juan Domingo Perón, an Argentine lieutenant general and politician, who is considered as the founder of Peronism. Peronism is a political and cultural movement in Argentina which is based on the power of the people and Perón’s ideas about government. Peronism still has many supporters in today's cultural and political environment.
