International Equal Pay Day 2025

On September 18, 2025, the United Nations observe International Equal Pay Day to advocate for closing the global gender pay gap. Celebrated annually, the day was first proclaimed in 2019 and observed in 2020. It addresses the persistent issue of women being paid less than men, often earning 20 percent less for the same work globally.
