On March 21, 2025 the International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination, which is commemoration which the United Nations initiated in 1966. It goes back to the Sharpeville massacre where 200.000 people demonstrated against the Apartheid-regime. The situation got out of control and caused 69 deaths and hundreds of injured people.
The UN-day is not only against physical violence and racial discrimination but also against subtly discrimination in the everyday life.
