The Republic of Niger celebrates its Independence Day on August 03, 2025. While the Republic of Niger was founded on December 18 in 1958, the formal and complete independence of France happened almost two years later on August 3 in 1960. Niger was placed under French control by the Conference of Berlin in 1885. The people celebrate the Independence Day with a lot of enjoyment and excitement. It is a day of bonding people of different languages and ethnicity living in Niger and a day to remember the freedom fighters and their struggle and contributions for a free Country.
