The Day of Remembrance for All Victims of Chemical Warfare is observed on November 30, 2025. It was convoked as the anniversary of the effective date of the Chemical Weapons Convention of 1997. Every year it commemorates those who have suffered from chemical weapons.
Established by the United Nations in 2005, the day also advocates for the strict enforcement of the Chemical Weapons Convention to prevent their use. The Day of Remembrance for all Victims of Chemical Warfare also serves as a call to action for the international community to reaffirm its commitment to peace, multilateralism, and the elimination of weapons that threaten human life and security.
