Commemoration Day of Fallen Soldiers 2025

In Finland, Commemoration Day of Fallen Soldiers takes place on May 18, 2025. This commemoration day is observed in the 3rd Sunday in May each year and is dedicated to all the fallen soldiers of the Winter War and the Finnish Civil War of 1918. After the Continuous War and the Lapland War the Commemoration Day of Fallen Soldiers is also used to remember the soldiers who have fallen in these wars. This day is usually observed by visiting church services and the grave yards of fallen family members and friends.
