All through the year there are many Yamin Tovim - Jewish festivals and holidays. The Jewish year is shaped by many religious events originating from the Torah. They celebrate three Pilgrimage Festivals, some High Holy Days like Rosh Hashanah and many others, from which some are also Biblically-mandated dates like Passover. The Biblical Jewish holidays are public holidays in Israel. Apart from that there are four Jewish national holidays of remembrance for all the suffering of the Jews during the centuries.
